NEW - Sailing the Salish Seas

Ahoy! Do you have a desire to learn how to sail, both an individual dingy, as well as working as a crew to operate a full size sail boat? You will learn how to sail, operate and live on a sailing yacht. You will also explore the natural environment and history of the Salish Sea.

The Pursuit week will be spent sailing to Desolation Sound (to the east of central Vancouver Island), where you will utilize the sailing skills acquired throughout the year in an incredible adventure through the beautiful west coast seascape. Themes of environmental stewardship and sustainability as it relates to the ocean will be woven into the cohort experience as you move through the year.

***Students in this cohort must be able to confidently swim for 25m.
